Women’s Circles
- The Purpose of the Mission Ladies is:
To know God To experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ. - To develop a creative, supportive fellowship.
- To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Alcoa First Methodist actively engages in fulfilling the mission of Christ and the Church and interprets the purpose of the MISSION LADIES. We advocate for the oppressed and dispossessed, with emphasis on special needs of women, children and youth; work to build a supportive community among women; and help foster growth in the Christian faith, mission education and Christian social involvement.
Our heritage is one of sacrifice, witness and service. The total program of the MISSION LADIES is support of the missions in the local community, in the U.S. and around the world.
